Aggressor Employees Give Back Through Community Service in Augusta

Following the wrap-up of the Make A Difference Challenge, Aggressor Adventures® team members from the corporate office, and even some of their children, stepped into their local community to continue the spirit of service by preparing and serving lunch for 97 individuals at The Byllesby Center in the Harrisburg community.

The Make A Difference Challenge highlights the importance of individual action and community impact. Inspired by that initiative, members of the Aggressor corporate team chose to extend those values beyond the workplace and into their hometown.

The team prepared and served a full meal that included baked pasta, garlic bread, salad, cookies, sweet tea, and water. The effort was organized and carried out by corporate staff who volunteered their Saturday to ensure the event was both welcoming and meaningful for those attending.

The Byllesby Center serves as a vital community hub focused on meeting the needs of residents in the Harrisburg area. By partnering with the center, Aggressor employees were able to directly engage with members of their local community and provide support in a tangible way.

“Giving back isn’t something we do for recognition — it’s part of who we are,” said Bob Thompson, Manager of Aggressor Detours. “The Make A Difference Challenge reminded us that small actions can create real impact. Serving a meal may seem simple, but showing up for your community matters. We’re proud to support organizations like The Byllesby Center that are making a difference every day.”

Aggressor Adventures® believes that exploration and service go hand in hand. While the company operates globally through its liveaboards, river cruises, and signature lodges, its roots remain firmly planted in Augusta, Georgia. Initiatives like this reinforce the company’s commitment to leadership, compassion, and community engagement both locally and worldwide.
