Born and raised on the stunning island of Roatan, Captain Steiner has had a lifelong connection to the sea. The ocean is in his blood—his playground, his classroom, and now, his career. For the past three years, Steiner has been a valued and beloved crew member aboard the Roatan Aggressor, serving as both a Dive Instructor and the vessel’s Photo Pro. Guests and crew alike have come to know Steiner for his professionalism, warmth, and unmatched knowledge of Roatan’s vibrant underwater world.
But beyond his friendly smile and photography skills, Steiner has been quietly building something bigger: his future as a sea captain. Over countless charters and long days at sea, he has accumulated critical hands-on experience in every aspect of vessel operations—from navigation and guest relations to safety procedures, engine room maintenance, and emergency response.
His hard work and dedication have paid off. With the required sea time and operational mastery under his belt, Steiner has officially earned his Honduran Marine Captain’s License, making him a certified ocean-going sea captain.
Captain Steiner will now be joining Captains Eddie and Willie at the helm of the Roatan Aggressor, helping lead weekly charters and continuing the proud tradition of excellence aboard this legendary vessel. His promotion continues our trend of a 100% local Honduran crewed operation, a true testament to the talent and passion found right here in the Bay Islands of Honduras.
