Ingredients:
One brisket of beef
Salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
4 cloves garlic, peeled and quartered
4 thyme sprigs
1 bay leaf
1 Tbsp garlic powder
2 – 16 oz cans of Primo Beer
Few Tablespoons of cornstarch
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 375oF. Season brisket with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Place brisket in roasting pan and put garlic and herbs on top. Pour beer into pan and cover tightly with foil. Bake in oven for 2 hours. Remove from oven and place brisket on a sheet pan and let cool 1 hour in refrigerator.
Save liquid and strain into saucepan. Bring to a boil and thicken with corn a starch slurry.
Slice cooled brisket on the bias and pour sauce over sliced brisket.
Reheat at 350o for 1/2 hour and serve!
